With the success of Day in the Life Vol. 1, The University Daily Kansan staff decided to produce another chapter on March 31, 2015.
Day in the Life is an exploration of the daily lives of KU students, faculty and staff. The section, composed entirely of features on people in the KU community, focuses on what makes someone’s typical day unique and how the University ﬁts into their lives. I was in charge of developing this product’s visual identity, executing its production and marketing it online with The University Daily Kansan digital team. I was also in charge of leading a majority of the creative planning of this product.
Day in the Life won “Best Special Section in the Nation” at the College Media Business & Advertising Managers 2014 and 2015 awards.
